WHERE: Shrewsbury Public Library, 214 Lake Street Shrewsbury, MA 01545

Panel Session: Success stories from 3 local entrepreneurs.
Shrewsbury Public Library is breaking new ground with plans to open the first ever FREE in-library start-up incubator, aimed at supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs as they jump-start their companies. In partnership with Krosslink.org, a volunteer driven organization created and supported by a group of entrepreneurs and business leaders who have successfully launched and built companies of their own, Shrewsbury Public Library will lead the charge in Krosslink’s mission to enlist 10,000 public libraries across the country to become partners in the incubator program by 2025.
The partnership will provide a “start-up shell” for local resident entrepreneurs to hatch their ideas, hold meetings and network with other entrepreneurs – with no strings attached. The library will be launching the program with an introductory session where successful entrepreneurs will share their stories about how they started their companies.
A drop-in program. All budding entrepreneurs are welcome.
